Local Fest was started by the Sustainable business Council in 2008 to promote their “buy local” campaign and support Missoula businesses.īuying local bolsters our economic base since the dollars are re-spent in Missoula and local businesses are more likely to use other local services and products. It’s a fun, family friendly event that radiates Missoula Culture. Chefs will compete in a gourmet competition, activities for the kiddo’s last until 5 PM, a food and beer garden will be open all day, and musicians will provide fabulous live music starting at 6 PM.
